If you don't always want to collect grass clippings, a convenient closing plate transforms the mower into a mulcher.
Two counter-rotating angular gear-driven blades throw the clippings and leaves into the centrally located suction pipe, from where the grass collector blows them into the discharge chute. A swing chute at the end of the discharge chute ensures that the tank is filled perfectly. The sound of a buzzer indicates when the tank is full.
